Sarah, a banker in the Tamale region was permitted a maternity leave in order to take care of her baby. However, she was not given a long enough time and she was forced to return to her house often throughout the day to continue breastfeeding her son. Because of her inability to perform her work tasks effectively, she was fired and now is struggling to support her child.
